The next International Meeting on Comparative Theology will take place in Paderborn on June 17-18 2026. We look forward to receiving your abstracts by February 20. This year’s conference theme „Theologies of Reconciliation” is intended to deepen our understanding of reconciliation as a theological and sociological category, to explore conditions under which reconciliation can take place, and to highlight the specific contributions that different religious traditions can make to reconciliation processes.
The conference is convened by the Center for Comparative Theology and Cultural Studies (ZeKK) at the University of Paderborn and the International Center for Comparative Theology and Social Issues (CTSI) at the University of Bonn in a joint venture with the Faculty of Theology in Paderborn (ThF), which will be hosting the conference this year. It aims to provide an interdisciplinary platform for PhD students and young researchers in Comparative Theology and related disciplines to exchange ideas.
